YAY! My first official post is up today ~ all about sweet home CHICAGO and @upton’s breakroom
Very excited to leave for Toronto, CA for my very first time next week, August 4th!

@shannon actually NOW is truly the best time. I’m a summer gal… so it all depends on what ya like. Like my fav months of the year for me are June, July and August 😀 Chicago summers are the best! There’s like a different festival every weekend!
Went to school in T.O. The CN tower is awesome! (But I’m a nerd, lol)… Also try to catch a baseball game if you can! You can usually get pretty cheap seats in the 500 level
I <3 Toronto! Some of my very best friends live there. Be sure to try vegan poutine, if you have a chance. It's a quebecoise dish made vegan by substituting mushroom gravy for beef and Daiya non-dairy cheese to replace mozzarella, atop fresh-cut french fries. It's a delicious mess! Not healthy at all! 😉
@chantal Thank you! Vegan Poutine sounds absolutely amazzzing! I definitely consider myself a comfort food vegan! Pasta and “hamburgers” are my fav! Haha 😛

@codyk Yessss awesome! Yay I saw your video all about it and I am majorly impressed! I hear it’s like Chicago… but better. hehe. I also hear there’s a LOT of vegan activism in your city which makes me happy. I’m actually traveling with a couple of activists and we’re going to the street blockade on August 6th in involvement with Toronto Pig Save. Have you heard of it? I hope our paths cross sooon! 😀 😀
@miakellyvegan Toronto Pig Save is a great organization doing a lot of great things .I hope you have a good time in Toronto and please eat as much Vegan food as possible. There are a ton of places to eat at. 🙂
