Hello fellow vegans,
My name is Michaela. I am a 24 year-old History and English Teacher living in Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA.
I have been a vegan for about a year and a half now . I was a vegetarian for 10 years before that. I began avoiding meat initially because of my deep love for animals. However, I love being vegan now, and knowing that I am contributing to a healthier and happier planet. 🙂
I love to travel, and I am hoping to teach English abroad after the end of this school year. I am currently planning a trip to London, England and Warsaw, Poland for 2 weeks at the end of December. Can’t wait to find some vegan pierogies!
I absolutely LOVE that there is a vegan travel community, and wish I knew about this when I studied abroad in Madrid years ago!
I’m excited to meet other vegans (since I currently have no vegan friends!), and I hope to learn more about the vegan lifestyle in other countries!
