I’m vegan since 2012 (vegetarian since 1999), just for ethical reasons.
I live in Slovakia, so if you need any help with vegan traveling there, I’m your man – don’t hesitate to ask me anything! 😉
I can also provide some usuful information about vegan traveling in South Thailand, as I’ve spent some time there.
I’ve been to Malaysia, Thailand, Egypt, Belgium, Israel, Hungary, Singapore, France, Turkey, Austria and Czech republic so far.
I travel in eco-friendly style – trying to produce as little waste as possible, use only public transport, solar or dynamo powered electronics, environmentally harmless cosmetics, carry my own dishes, cutlery and a filtering bottle to avoid buying any disposable ones, etc. Once I’ve even spent a month with my friends in Southeast Asia living mostly in tents. 🙂 It was a wonderful experience. 🙂 And also very cheap.
Soon I’m off to South Thailand and Malaysia again – for 2 months (January 24th – March 18th 2017). This time I want to live partly in tent, partly in guest houses. 🙂 I have a co-traveler for 2 weeks, the rest of the time I’ll be there alone – so, any fellow vegans are welcomed to join me. 🙂 Only non-smokers, please! 😀 I’m straight edge, by the way. 😉
