This is Summerseat in Morrisville PA (near Trenton NJ). George Washington stayed here in the weeks before the Battle of Trenton when they crossed the Delaware River on Christmas Day 1776. My MIL is a cousin of George Clymer who lived here and signed the Declaration of Independence and The Constitution. The day we visited after Thanksgiving, we decorated a Christmas tree for the dining room. Then we had an awesome tomato pie for dinner. You can get a great tomato pie at every pizza shop in the area.
