Our plans in Philly were rained out but still made it to the new Dottie’s Donuts vegan doughnut shop.

Oh my! I’ve heard that’s a must-visit place in Philly!

@shannon I was so worried they would be sold out! We used to get their donuts from Grindcore House but it’s nice to go into an actual all-vegan donut shop. There was just so very little seating that was occupied by people with no intention on leaving ever, so we had to eat them in the car. Worth it!

My whole weekend was a rainy mess the last time I was in Philly, and I didn’t even have the benefit of Dottie’s being open yet! The good news is, there’s always next time 😉

We did a little volunteer session at Save A Gato in Old San Juan, helping to clean up and line litter boxes for the volunteer-run, non-profit organization that helps to combat the overpopulation of homeless cats. Much love to the volunteers that do this thankless and never-ending work helping animals. #puertorico @vegannomad in PDX

Mother’s Day brunch, happy day to me! We had mango pancakes in tarragon syrup and vegan sweet potato and yam pastelon with sautéd greens, a local dish often made with animals.
