Hello everyone!!! SO GUESS WHERE I SPENT THE DAY?? At the INCREDIBLE Toronto VegFest…..it was, again, another year of fun-filled, vegan everything…..I wore my VEGAN TRAVEL t-shirt and several people asked me,
“What is Vegan Travel?” AND, “Do you have a booth at the festival?” I was excited to give them all the Vegan Travel information they were curious about. Many were very surprised and interested in the site. There were 2 people I came across who actually heard about the site…I was pleasantly surprised. Obviously, you guys are doing a fabulous job getting the compassionate word out there. I felt so enthusiastic about offering information on Vegan Travel and the people who make it work.
I attended a talk that 2 wonderful young men, Derek and Steven, gave of their beloved piggy, Esther, The Wonder Pig
of Georgetown, Ontario. She is a very special pig who, by no intention of her own, influenced Derek and Steve to go Vegan. Yep, when they took her in to live with them as part of their animal family, they were omnivores/carnivores and shortly after, they no longer could eat any animals. They shared a very inspiring video of how intelligent pigs really are and how Esther fit into their family so quickly and easily…..check them out at estherthewonderpig.com
