Hi all! I haven’t been super active recently which I’m hoping to change. All of my writing and blogging went on hiatus for a moment, so I thought I’d jump in here and introduce myself. I’m Cara, mother to my favorite human, Julian, and married to Bryan. Writing and food photography are my main interests and hobbies. We love to get away whenever we can, with my husband’s 9-5, son’s school, and our rescue animals we can’t leave behind too often (and they do NOT travel well), we do the best with can with traveling as it’s a priority to us. I can’t sit still for very long! I think traveling with kids, even just one 11 year old, is a completely different experience, many of the travel tales are not relatable to me, so I like to offer that perspective. We have a now 3 year plan that we are working towards, to change our lifestyle a bit that would allow for more traveling. I love having Vegan Travel as a resource, I follow other travel groups occasionally and they are just laced with animal exploitation. Thankful for vegan folks who think to provide resources like this and for the community.
