For the last part of our Stockholm stay, we moved to a different area of town that we were told is meant more for living, not for good restaurants- especially vegan options.
On our short walk from our new hostel to a work session at a coffee shop, a man stopped Marissa and myself and spoke a few Swedish words, but I recognized something about “vegan” (I think I’ll always be able to make that word out :D). Once he realized we spoke english, we got into a full-blown conversation thanks for my Vegan Travel conversation-sparking T-shirt.
Turns out, he has been vegan for 37 years now, and knew alllll about places to eat in this apparently hopeless area. He raved about a vegan spot right up the street, so we walked with him on his commute to work, chatting about veganism, Vegan Travel, and everything else vegans chat about :D.

We were stuffed from breakfast, but we will be sure to go back to chow down on this newer vegan buffet!
