Less than 7-days before we announce our Vegans Around the World contest winners!

I want to again thank all the contestants for the amazing videos you created and submitted. I would also like to thank everyone who voted for them (likes and comments) here and on YouTube. We definitely have a very difficult decision ahead of us.

I was recently asked a question about our process, so I thought I should share the answer here.

We have asked 10-ethical vegans (8 of which work here and/or have worked with us) to be our judges. They are re-watching every submitted video, and scoring all the videos based on the criteria we have listed on our contest page. We are also tallying all the likes, comments, and page views each video received on VeganTravel and on YouTube. And we are reviewing the answers to the questionnaires the contestants completed, and viewing any and all links provided in their answers.

We are trying to make our decision process as fair and transparent as possible, so if you have any additional questions about the judging or any other aspect of the contest, please do not hesitate to ask.
