VeganTravel.com is a place where vegans share their passion for travel and adventure, help grow interest in going vegan, shed light on the issues animals are facing around the globe, and help build a more sustainable and compassionate world.
Where are you staying in Bangkok?
There are two ways to get into the city from the airport and both are safe and affordable. You can take the BTS (Train) from the airport to the mainline in Bangkok. From there you can go anywhere along the BTS line.
You can also take a taxi and they will use the meter (so don’t worry about getting ripped off) It should cost around 300-400 Baht (including toll roads) which is around $8.50-11.50 USD. When you land and get out of immigration just follow the signs for the taxi stand.
Another great tip for using taxi’s in the city is to always ask for meter. If they refuse, just politely decline and then wait for someone who will use the meter. There are a lot of great Vegan restaurants in BKK so I could easily point you in the direction of some of our favourites.
Enjoy our second home!!!
