    Hello 🙂
    im iselinn form norway,
I came over this website looking for a new place to volunteer next year, when depends a little bit on which place I choose. but I would love to go somewhere warm, pretty and green where they have all sorts of animals, especially would I love places like farm sanctuary’s which is 100% vegan and have lots of slaughter rescues.
I have volunteered twice in afrika, first with all sorts of animals at Harnas wildlife foundation and then with baboons at C.A.R.E., but I would actually this time like to go somewhere which is’nt that far from home, so I could easily go back a few times a year if I like the place without having to take too long off from work og pay to much for the plane ticket. So any of you have any suggestions where to choose? 🙂 I dont like when the places are to crowded with tourists, some are ok. but not like 50 every day. then it feels more like working in a zoo to me, and thats not what i want.

    • Hi Iselinn, welcome to the site! As for warmer places, we’ve heard great things about the Italian Horse Protection in Tuscany and the Santorini Animal Welfare Association. You can find more animal sanctuaries around the world at https://www.vegantravel.com/animal_care
